I played Crazy Time back in 2022, but I must admit I didn’t make the most of it. So recently, I checked the game again and really got interested in the strategies I’d just found. This game draws on the basic concept of the traditional casino wheel, but Evolution has made a huge difference by adding 4 bonus rounds and a slot multiplier. If you want to find something new with some really cool strategies, you will find it here.
What is Crazy Time?
Crazy Time is a live game show by Evolution Gaming, launched in July 2020. A real host spins a 54-segment wheel from a studio, and you bet on where it lands.
What sets it apart are four bonus rounds as Cash Hunt, Pachinko, Coin Flip, and Crazy Time, where multipliers can reach up to 25,000x your bet. The game runs 24/7, with roughly 20 seconds to place your bet each round. Fast, simple, and genuinely exciting.

RTP and Volatility
Crazy Time has an RTP of up to 96.08%, which applies when betting on the number 1 segment. RTP (Return to Player) simply means how much of the total wagered money gets paid back over time — 96% is solid for a live game show. The maximum payout goes up to ₹50,000,000 per round. However, the theoretical maximum multiplier from the Crazy Time bonus round with Top Slot stacking is 25,000x your bet.
Here’s the full RTP breakdown from the official paytable:
Segment | Segments on Wheel | Payout | Frequency |
1 | 21 | 1:1 | 38.89% |
2 | 13 | 2:1 | 24.07% |
5 | 7 | 5:1 | 12.96% |
10 | 4 | 10:1 | 7.41% |
Coin Flip | 4 | Bonus Game | 7.41% |
Cash Hunt | 2 | Bonus Game | 3.70% |
Pachinko | 2 | Bonus Game | 3.70% |
Crazy Time | 1 | Bonus Game | 1.85% |
Theme and Graphics
The studio is loud, colourful, and over the top, the exact way you’d expect from a carnival-themed game show. The wheel takes up most of the screen, with each segment colour-coded so you always know where your bet sits.
The host keeps things moving, and there’s a live chat so you can see other players reacting as it happens. Bonus rounds are where it gets interesting. Pachinko brings up a full puck board, Cash Hunt covers the screen with 108 symbols, and the Crazy Time bonus takes you into a whole separate room with a bigger wheel.
How to Play Crazy Time
Pick your bet and wait for the next round, and you will get 20 seconds to bet.

Choose the segment and place your bets. You can bet more than on a single segment.

The Top Slot spins first and assigns a random multiplier (2x–50x) to one segment. The host spins the main wheel.

Land on your number, you win. Land on a bonus, you can play the bonus game. The Top Slot multiplier applies if the wheel stops on that segment.

Use the Repeat option if you are repeating your bet

Crazy Time Special Features and Bonus Rounds
The bonus rounds are what make Crazy Time really attractive. They are fun to watch and always keep you on the edge of your seat. At the top of that, you have the multiplier feature, which applies random multipliers to the segments before the wheel stops. Let’s look at each of these features.
Top Slot Multiplier
The top slot multiplier wheel applies a random multiplier to one segment, up to 2x to 50x. But don’t expect it to always apply a multiplier. Sometimes, there is no multiplier for some rounds.
Cash Hunt
Cash Hunt is kind of a shooting game. There are 108 symbols that appear on the screen, and behind each symbol is a multiplier ranging from 5x to 500x. You get a canon to shoot one symbol you choose, and the multiplier behind that symbol applies to your bet.
Pachinko
Pachinko is inspired by a Japanese arcade game. It has a vertical pegboard, and a puck is dropped from a random zone at the top and bounces through rows of pegs until it lands in one of 16 multiplier slots at the bottom. Multipliers range from small amounts up to 10,000x.
The speciality of this game is the double slot; if the puck lands on the double slot, all the bets are doubled, and the puck is dropped again.
Coin Flip
The simplest game out of the four Crazy Time games. Here, a large coin has a red side and a blue side. You will see that each side is assigned a multiplier (2x to 100x) before the flip, and I have normally seen one side with a higher multiplier and the other with a lower one.
Crazy Time Bonus Round
The Crazy Time Bonus game is where you get the highest win, which you can win up to 25,000x of your bet. When the wheel lands on this bonus, the host opens a tread door into a completely different virtual room containing a giant three-level wheel with Bonus multipliers everywhere. You choose a flapper colour (green, blue, or yellow), and the giant wheel spins.
If your flapper’s segment lands on DOUBLE or TRIPLE, all multipliers on the wheel are doubled or tripled, and the wheel spins again. However, remember you won’t always win a 25,000x bonus. Generally, Crazy Time wins range between 50x and 500x. For example, when I was playing, the maximum win from this bonus game was 500x.
How to Win at Crazy Time – Proven Tips & Strategies
- Watch some gameplays first and try to learn the game first, and get a feel for the pace and how often bonuses actually show up.
- Mix your bets. Numbers 1 and 2 as number 1 hits on nearly 39% of spins, so it keeps your balance alive
- Check the spin history. If bonuses haven’t appeared in a while, some players bump up their bonus bets slightly. It’s not guaranteed, but it’s a common timing habit.
- Watch the Top Slot. It assigns multipliers before each spin. If it boosts a segment you’ve bet on, your payout jumps. Worth a quick look before placing chips.
- Play during peak hours. The 7–11 PM IST window tends to be busiest. The odds don’t change, but the host energy and live chat make it a better experience.
- Set limits before you start. Decide your win target and loss limit upfront. Crazy Time moves fast, and chasing losses is easy. This one habit matters more than anything else.

I also tested a few rounds in the Crazy Time app. It works well. The wheel fits the screen nicely, buttons are easy to tap, and the stream stays clear on a normal data connection. The app loads faster than the mobile browser and shows the wheel and betting grid together without any scrolling. Make sure Hindi is supported, UPI and Paytm work fine, and the minimum bet is the same ₹10 as on desktop.

Where to Play Crazy Time for Real Money
If you are trying to figure out how to start playing Crazy Time, the first thing you need to check is whether the platform is licensed. If they are licensed, that means they are regulated by reputable institutions and practice industry standards. Another thing is to check if you can withdraw and deposit with Indian Rupees. Also, many payment methods, like UPI payments, credit and debit cards, and even cryptocurrency, are really good.
How Did I Manage to Win in Crazy Time Game?
As I explained earlier, playing Crazy Time a few years back did not go well with me. However, when I played it this time, I did it with some maths. My friends had tried earlier, betting a larger portion on 1s and 2s for one round and a small portion on bonuses. It is also a really good strategy. And I kept betting on 1 because it has the highest probability (38.89%). Betting on number 1 with the martingale strategy really works if you know how to handle your cash balance.
But here is the secret strategy I have used to have the most fun in the game and also win a really good amount of cash in about a 45-minute session. I have a short clip I made from that session above. So, here I bet the smallest amount on the bonus round. But not every round. If you check the probability of at least one bonus round on the wheel, it is around 16%. What does this mean? Nearly 1 out of 5 rounds has a chance of landing on a bonus segment ( Remember, it is not always the case). So what I did was I waited for one bonus round to complete. And waited 3 rounds to complete after that, and started betting the minimum bet for all 4 bonus segments for the next 5 rounds. If the wheel does not land on any bonuses during those 5 rounds, I waited for another bonus round to appear and repeat the process.
I started playing with an initial balance of ₹26,326, won ₹1000 and ₹600 within that session, and ended the round with ₹27,421. So this made for a really good way to have fun while getting some real cash from the Crazy Time game. Find the stats below.
